Speaking Times Free Paper Sessions
Lectures: 9 minutes
Oral presentations: 7 minutes
Discussion of all papers will be at the end of the session.
In order to facilitate the smooth organization of the entire program, all speakers are requested to adhere to their allocated presentation times. The chairpersons of each session will be entitled to interrupt a presentation if a speaker exceeds the allotted time.
Videos
Video presentations are an important and effective means of displaying scientific results. Therefore, the best seven videos will be displayed and discussed during the video session on Sunday 6th June, 14:00 - 15:30.
All submitted videos are shown during the entire congress period.
The WOC will publish award-winning videos on its homepage. Therefore, authors who would like to make their video available to the WOC are requested to ensure that the videos do not contain any data protected by copyright.
The WOC®2010 Video Awards of the DOG for the three best videos, donated by Carl Zeiss Meditec, will be granted at the end of the video session.
Poster Presentation
Poster presentations are an important and effective means of displaying scientific results.
Printed posters and E-posters will be displayed during the entire congress period.
First authors of posters will be required to be at their poster at the times indicated below. Chairpersons will check the attendance of poster authors and discuss the posters with the first author (maximum of 3 minutes for discussion per poster).
Each day three outstanding posters will each be awarded a cash prize of €300.
The posters will be marked and the prizes will be awarded on June 9, 2010 at the Award Ceremony.
All posters must be prepared in English.
Standard poster walls will be available in the Poster Exhibition in Hall 11.
The maximum size of a poster is DIN A0 (84.10 cm wide x 118.90 cm high).
Adhesive material (max. 10 power strips per poster) will be provided and staff from the Poster Help Desk in the poster exhibition area will be available to assist poster authors, if required.
The organisers will remove and destroy posters that have not been removed by the times indicated below.
Poster Presentation
Poster P-SA-001 to P-SA-282 and P-SU-001 to P-SU-276 must be mounted on Saturday, 5 June 2010, 8:30 and removed on Sunday, 6 June 2010, 17:30.
Poster P-MO-001 to P-MO-298 and P-TU-001 to P-TU-265 must be mounted on Monday, 7 June 2010, 8:30 and removed on Tuesday, 8 June 2010, 17:30.
